This circular route follows off-road trails, quiet country lanes and forest tracks from Newry around the volcanic landscape of the Ring of Gullion AONB. Along its route, ancient monuments and quiet villages can be discovered.

The route passes Fathom Mountain, Black Mountain, Slievenabolea, Slieve Gullion and Camlough Mountain. Other highlights on or close to the route include Clontygora Neolithic tomb, Moyry Castle, Craigmore Viaduct with its 18 arches, and the grounds of Derrymore House (National Trust).

The Sandstone Way is an off-road cycling trail linking Hexham to Berwick Upon Tweed  following the Sandstone Ridge in north Northumberland travelling across the beautiful Northumberland National Park. The route comprises a mixture of off road trails alongside some quiet country roads. 

The North Cheshire Way is one of Cheshire's longest paths. It is 113km (70 miles) long, running approximately eastwards across some of Cheshire's most beautiful countryside from Hooton railway station on the Wirral peninsula to Disley railway station on the edge of the Peak District, where it connects with the Gritstone Trail.

It was developed by The Mid-Cheshire Footpath Society as the brainchild of former member David Kinsell of Chester, who sadly did not live to see its completion.

A demanding but suggestive itinerary among the wild peaks of the Western Upper Lario, the Alta Via del Lario is a trekking route of about 50 km which is generally covered in 3 main stages. The itinerary develops between 1200m and 2400m above sea level, along the ridge that separates the Como side from the Swiss one, partly following the paths that connect the ancient pastures to each other.
