Description

The route begins at Tom-Na-Kessaig (Hill of St Kessog) in Callendar and follows the Trossachs Path (runners route) to Inversnaid Pier on the shores of Loch Lomond.

It is a long distance path (30 miles/48 km) and part of the Scotlands Great Trail network of paths. It is therefore a fantastic long distance walk on its own or can be extended by connecting to other Great Trails. The Great Trossachs Path is a perfect way to take in stunning scenery along loch shores, hillslopes, mature woodlands rich in wildlife and history.
