This route is excellent stacked upon excellent. It is a Red Rocks classic and run-scramblers dream, full of exposed 4th/5th class terrain, handlines, and route finding. (TL;DR: this is not a casual trail run.)

The Rainbow Cirque is a high-traverse around the grand amphitheater created by the Rainbow Massiff tagging 5 key peaks/sub-peaks (each with its own summit register). 

The peaks are as follows:

The Bugline cuts through parkways in the suburban areas of Waukesha County. The trail is shaded and winding. Views of the expansive Lannon Quarries are a memorable feature.

The North Central DuPage Regional Trail (NCDRT) is 19-mile trail spanning northern DuPage County. The western terminus connects to the Illinois Prairie Path (IPP) in Pratts’ Wayne Woods Forest Preserve via the new Munger Road extension. The eastern terminus of the NCDRT connects to the Woodland Meadow access Busse Woods Forest Preserve in Cook County.

La traversée complète des Monts Groulx, dans la région de Manicouagan. La traversée veut dire : partir du sentier du sud et finir le sentier nord (ou l'inverse). Autrement dit, il faut partir de la route 389 et rejoindre la même route, après avoir traversé les Monts Groulx.
