Around the island Fehmarn. The route follows as much as possible tracks close to the baltic sea.

This is the entire length of the East Lothian Coast from Musselburgh, on the outskirts of the country capital Edinburgh, to the Scottish Borders in Cockburnspath.  The route takes in the final 60km of the official John Muir Way and then joins the Join Muir link route to the Scottish Borders.  A mix of road and trail (10%,90%) and a total ascent and descent of roughly 500m the route is not too challenging and is open to some very fast running.

Der Limes, die alte römische Grenzbefestigung gegenüber dem wilden Germanien, ist seit 2005 von der UNESCO als Weltkulturerbe geschützt. Mit einer Gesamtlänge von über 500km ist er nach der Chinesischen Mauer das zweitgrößte Bodendenkmal der Welt. Und am besten erhalten ist der Limes im Taunus. Deshalb legten hier am spannendsten Abschnitt des Limes das Saalburgmuseum zusammen mit dem Naturpark Hochtaunus der Limeserlebnispfad an, der 2012 vom Deutschen Wanderverband als Qualitätsweg zertifiziert wurde.
