Description

The Trans-Charlevoix Route is a link-up of several trails and summits accross the Charlevoix region. It is bordered to the south by the Mont Saint-Anne (just outside the geographical limit) and crossing the whole of Charlevoix all the way to Saint-Siméon. It covers the must-see, must-hike and must-climb of places, trails and summits in a as logical as possible link up. In its essence, you follow the Saint-Lawrence river from Mont Saint-Anne to Baie-Saint-Paul then circum-navigate the Charlevoix crater from Baie Saint-Paul to Saint-Simeon.

Kingfisher Trail (United Kingdom)

Description

A well-established loop of just over 6 miles just South of Winchester taking in beautiful countryside, a few hills, river paths and amazing views.  Is well-signed throughout with blue Kingfisher Trail discs on posts, gates, etc.

Link to Walk4Life brochure with more detailed map is below (although note the map is labelled slightly incorrectly between points 7 and 8 as the route does not follow Mare Lane but a path through the fields that runs parallel to it).

Episode 129: Joe McConaughy - starting the Arizona Trail 3/23 - it WAS going to be an FKT race!

Category
Person-Person

Joe McConaughy and Coree Woltering independently decided to try for an FKT on the Arizona Trail.  Our Social Media Coordinator Allison Mercer heard about this, contacted them, with the result being Joe and Coree decided to start at the same place at the same time ... and see who makes it from the Mexican border to Utah first!

"I think we'll have different FKT strategies ... I'm not sure how much he is going to divulge, and not sure how much I'll divulge ..."
