Classic local challenge. Get the train to Birmingham and run back along the canal towpath. Start at Black Sabbath Bridge (Gas Street Basin), finish by the river in Stratford.

Terrain: canal towpath, some tarmac, some gravel, some light non-technical trail. 

Supplies: several canal-side pubs, could divert into one of the villages the canal passes through. Plentiful at start and finish.

Oil Nut Bay scenic loop is a beautiful spot on Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands. Oil Nut Bay is surrounded by protected waters and abundant marine life, with 400 acres of private land. This FKT starts and finishes at the “Marina Point, Nova”rock/Tree where the shopping center ends and the road begins. You will pass through the “Nova” restaurant to get to the starting you come from the docks. The route is a short loop around the magnificent property. You start at the “MarinaPoint$$rock/tree and head almost directly in a short climb.

The direction of running (clockwise/anticlockwise) can be freely chosen. The 4 small tops/viewpoints Günzelburg, Blaufels, Knoblauchfels and Rusenschloss (passed by the track) should be summited as well.
