Zelena Glava (Bosnia and Herzegovina)

Description

At 2155 meters, Zelena Glava is the highest mountain in the Prenj massif. The ascent from Konjic Bijela is a classic route in Prenj and offers some of the most sustained climbing in Bosnia. For this route, there is some parking at the start and ample parking in an open area about one km before.

If there is a Bosnian short distance, mountain running, test piece, the round trip from the village of Diva Grabovica to Hajdučka Vrata is it.

Trebević (Bosnia & Herzegovina)

Description

Towering over downtown Sarajevo, Trebević is an extremely popular mountain for hiking and trail running nearly year round. Trebević was the setting for multiple events during the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo and most routes up the mountain travel past the old, graffitied, bullet pocked Olympic luge track.
