Reyes Peak is the highest point of the Pine Mountain ridge, in the Los Padres Forest, California. The Chorro Grande trail goes up the South face of Pine Mountain until it reaches the dirt road. From there, the route follows Pine Mountain road to Reyes Peak Trailhead. The summit is one mile away from the trailhead.

FKT route goes from Chorro Grande trailhead to trailhead, by road 33. 

Park at Marlboro trailhead.  Very technical on as you embark Westward and climb to the top of Mt. Monadnock. The last half mile you get some pretty sweet granite running.  Hit the peak and head back down to the trailhead parking lot. The trail round trip is about 4.1 miles with around 1800 ft of gain/descent.
