Here you meet a varied landscape that has a lot to offer of both nature and culture. In a relatively limited area, you can experience everything from magical coniferous forests to grazed beach meadows.

Description

Ameland Umrundung 2020

Start am Haus MARE in Nes. Über den Muschelweg nach Osten, beim HET OERD kurz an den Strand und dann das östliche Seezeichen umlaufen. Über den Naturwanderweg zurück und am asphaltierten Wattweg bis zum westlichen Leuchtturm. Starker Gegenwind am Watt mit 35 km/h. Rund um den Leuchtturm und dann über den Muschelweg zurück bis zum Haus MARE auf Höhe PAL 14.

Franconia Notch Loop (NH)

Description

Circumnavigate famous Franconia Notch via the six surrounding high peaks (Cannon, North Kinsman, Flume, Liberty, Lincoln, Lafayette) 

Loop can be done from Cannon Tramway or from The Basin 

This is a world class area and Franconia Ridge gets more attention, but Kinsman Ridge and Cannon on the opposite side of the notch are also spectacular and this route tours the entire state park

Tiroler Höhenweg (Austria, Italy)

Description

The Tiroler Höhenweg begins in Mayrhofen/Austria (Center) and ends in and Merano/Italy. It starts with the ice giants of the Zillertal Alps and the dark mountains of the main Alpine ridge. This continues with the pale dolomite peaks of the Tribulaune. And that only ends with the descent through the apple orchards of Merano, after another five days over the high hiking peaks along the Passeirer Timmelstal and through the Texel group, rich in lakes.

Mount Hillary (Ireland)

This loop begins in the car park at the forestry entrance in Knightfield, on the northern slopes of Mount Hillary. Enter the forestry via the barrier and follow the red arrows. Initially, blue and green arrows will also be guiding your path, but you will leave these behind later.
