The course starts in Neheim in Hochsauerland county, going in eastern direction through the Arnsberg forest nature park. The Möhne reservoir ist passed on its south-side. After crossing the city Warstein the course heads north, leaving the Sauerland for crossing the Haarhöhe-ridge by Rüthen. Turning north-east now the course enters the Paderborn Plateau by Büren and crosses the Büren forest nature reserve before it approaches the city of Paderborn.  

A circular route of the Cairngorms. Starting and finishing outside 'Rothiemurchus Caravan Park' in Coylumbridge - Aviemore, Scotland. Described anti clockwise: passing Loch An Eilein, through the woodland of Rothiemurchus. Down into Feshibridge and down the length of Glen Feshie before bearing left and running along in to Linn of Dee. During this section there are quite a few low level river crossing and some typical boggy ground to cover. At Linn of Dee, there is an option where some support could meet you (32 mile), there are toilets and a car park.
