Notts Wolds Way (UK)
The Notts Wolds Way is a linear path of 26 miles which was set up by the Nottinghamshire Footpaths Preservation Society with the support of Nottinghamshire County Council and with the aid of a grant from Ramblers Holidays Charitable Trust (RHCT). The path, from Bunny to Cropwell Butler is divided into 4 linear stages each passing through an attractive and interesting part of south Nottinghamshire. Although there are a few short road sections, the route is mostly on rights of way in the form of field and woodland paths and tracks.

Start your journey in West Ocean View. Slap the metal fence at the end of Chela Ave while taking in a quick view of the Chesapeake. Run parallel to the beach on Ocean View Ave. After passing 19th Bay Street, continue straight onto E Beach Drive for a scenic loop through the shaded, oak-lined streets of the East Beach neighborhood.
From there, merge onto Shore Drive, taking in the peaceful views of Pretty Lake from the bridge. Settle in for the long haul as you continue along Shore Drive, channeling your inner Navy SEAL as you pass Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek.

UKK-kierros
Urho Kekkosen Kansallispuisto (UKK) was the second most visited Finnish national park in 2023, with an estimated 417 600 visits. We used Saariselkä as the hub for this FKT because of easy access by public transport and a wide range of services in the area. In 2023, UKK celebrated its 40th anniversary and a gate to the national park was constructed, serving as a good starting/finishing point. As the route is circular, the FKT could in principle be started from anywhere, but the only other place with road access is Kiilopää, 10 km south of Saariselkä.
