Running the full length of Germany. From the most northern to the most southern point of the country.
It's not allowed to cross the dam leading to the island of Sylt on foot. There, the starting point will be on the most northern tip of the German mainland. 

Figured it was time for the west side of the island to receive some FKT love!

This is a route that runs coast to coast (Seal Cove to Somes Sound) across the west side of Mount Desert Island, covering all the mountain peaks along the track in just over 13 miles. 

Here you are summiting Bernard, Mansell, Beech, Acadia, St. Sauveur, and Flying mountains along the way. Rugged terrain, beautiful views, and less crowds than the east side (and, IMO, the best mountains and views in the park...). 

Route starts at Kærvej, taking you through the beautiful Stenholt forrest, passing the eastside of Bølling Lake, down to Harbovad and back to the startline passing the westside og Bølling lake
