There are now 52 Routes in Sweden, 34 of which were established just in the last few months! Why?
We like to challenge ourselves, and FKTs are a wonderful outlet. Our view is FKTs should be an ultra distance.
Ultra indeed. Welcome to the country that invented ÖTILLÖ, which is "island hopping" by swimming to multiple islands, running across them, then swimming to the next one.
You just put two points on the map, go from A to B, by any route you want, choosing your own strategy.

The Irish Munros is a list of the thirteen highest Irish mountain peaks with an elevation of over 3000 feet (914 metres) and with a minimum prominence of 15 metres. The 13 Irish peaks are spread out over four Mountain ranges : The Wicklow Mountains; The Galtee Mountain Range; The MacGillycuddy's Reeks; and the Brandon Group.
Sellrainer Hüttenrunde (Austria)
The Trail through the Sellrain and Stubai Alps starts in pretty alpine-rose-strewn terrain, impressing visitors with its scenic beauty and cosy mountain huts. Potsdamer Hütte Hut, Westfalenhaus, Pforzheimer Hütte, Schweinfurter Hütte, Bielefelder Hütte and Dortmunder Hütte provide accommodation on this circular hike with 80 kilometres and around 5900 metres in altitude. Most of the trails are moderately difficult to challenging.

Mt Hood Circumnavigation from Cascade Locks
Circumnavigating Mt. Hood is a thing, circumnavigating it from sea level, starting and finishing at the Bridge of the Gods in Cascade Locks, well, not so much. This is part 1 of 3 of the Tamanawas 1-2-3-Hundred Challenge, which consists in circumnavigating Mt. Hood, Mt. Adams, and Mt. St.
