Oxdrove Way (United Kingdom)
The Ox Drove is part of an old cross-country route on the Downs to the northeast of Winchester which was once a drove route for cattle.
Described as a cycle, horse-riding and walking route, it forms a figure of eight using the Ox Drove. Initially heading north and visiting Preston Down, Bradley, Upper Wield, and Old Alresford; and then west to Itchen Wood, Itchen Down and Abbotstone.
There is rolling downland, woods and farmland, with fantastic views and plenty of wildlife. The terrain is almost all off-road and undulating.
