The Jane Addams trail is a crushed limestone trail in Stephenson County, Illinois. The trail covers an old railroad bed, extending from downtown Freeport, IL to the Wisconsin state border. The trail connects to the Grand Illinois Trail (to the East) and the Badger State Trail (to the North), making it a great connector for longer adventures.

Elevation Gain: 3,100 feet

The Bucks Lake Wilderness is located in the northern section of the Sierra Nevada Mountains and encompasses a whopping 21,000 acres.

The Ostfriesland Wanderweg is a regional hiking trail running from North to South through the region of East Frisia in Northern Germany. With a length of around 97 kilometers, it is the longest and oldest hiking trail in the area. The region is known for its flat land so the route is easy as there is hardly any elevation. The trail runs in parts on the route of the former narrow-gauge railroad track Leer-Aurich-Wittmund and is part of the European Long Distance Hiking E9.

The Ivanhoe Way is one of Leicestershire's long-distance paths, created by Leicestershire County Council and the Leicestershire Association of Parish and Local Councils, to celebrate the centenary of civil Parish Councils in 1994. It is a tour of some of the finest areas of the National Forest. It features gently rolling hills, diverse woodland and agricultural land. It follows canals, rivers and parks and there are plenty of styles for climbing over! The Route is waymarked with green diamonds and features on Ordnance Survey mapping.
