Start at Stillach near Oberstdorf (parking at Renksteg). On the road to Spielmannsau. Through the Sperrbachtobel ascent past the Kemptener Hütte to the Muttlerkopf (2368m). Continue on the Großer Krottenkopf (2656m). Pass the Hermannskarsee to the Herrmann von Barth hut. Stay on the Enzensberger Weg towards Kaufbeurer Haus. Of course, the Bretterspitze (2608m) was taken along. Descent into the valley to Hinterhornbach (1101m). Then across the Jochbach valley to the Hornbachjoch. Down to the Käseralpe. Back to Oberstdorf via the road through the Oytal.

Sleepy Hollow State Park contains over 2,600 acres including a river winding its way through the woods, fields and trails. Lake Ovid nestled in the middle of it all was developed by damming the Little Maple River and covers 410-acres. The park offers a year-round opportunity for recreation with 181 modern campsites.

Aufstieg zur Karwendelbergbahn über Karwendelsteig, danach links über Panorama-Rundweg zur nördl./mittlere/südliche Linderspitze, Sulzliklammspitze, Krichlespitze zur Rotwandspitze bis zur Brunnsteinspitze. Von hier aus kurz retour bis zur Abzweigung Brunnsteinsteig. Diesen runter bis zum Radweg bei der B2 folgen und von hier aus entlang wieder zum Ausgangspunkt.
