Admin note: The turnaround is the waterfall at the end of the trail (see picture below). Being such a competitive route, it is even more important to follow the route and go all the way to the end of the trail.

The Kalalau Trail is a 10 mile trail that leads from Ke’e Beach to Kalalau Beach along the Na Pali Coast on the island of Kauai in Hawaii. This website has information and media that will help you plan your outing to the secluded Kalalau Beach and/or Kalalau Valley. The Kalalau Trail is part of the Hawaii State Parks system.

"rockhopper" posted this unique multisport (with driving) challenge:

Hello FKT community! I'm excited to share a new FKT event. This is not a traditional FKT trail in that it involves multiple disciplines and travel between trails. This multi-sport winter "course" includes ascending the Appalachian Mountain Club hiking trails to the summits of the three New Hampshire 4,000 ft mountains that have downhill ski resorts: Wildcat, Cannon, Mt. Tecumseh and descending each via their ski slopes with downhill equipment in a single day.

Brandon Chase posted the route:

I am planning an Unsupported FKT attempt of the 255km Beşparmak Trail in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus from March 2-7, 2018. This is a fairly unknown but well-marked trail along the Kyrenia Mountains on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus which was created in 2010 and designated as long-distance trail by the Ministry of Tourism in 2015.

Mt Willingdon (AB, Canada)

Description

Mount Willingdon is located in the wild eastern section of Banff National Park, the last expansive area of true wilderness within the park. This mountain is more about scenic views, wild animal encounters, or hopefully only viewing, and long approaches then quality climbing or classic mountaineering. Having just said that, the North-East Face of the Willingdon Massif presents an extensive glacier and a beautiful snow/ice route, likely unrepeated since the original 1977 ascent.
