Heideschnuckenweg- Stage 1 (Germany)

Description

The Heideschnuckenweg is one of the most scenic paths that leads from just south of Hamburg until Celle. It is 223km long and is split into 13 Stages. This stage is second longest, and is easily reached with public transport at the start and the end. The terrain is largely trail with some road sections.

Blue Ridge Horse Trail (MO)

Description

The Blue Ridge Horse Trail in the heart of the Missouri Ozarks weaves through the hills and hollows of the Eleven Point Ranger District in the Mark Twain National Forest.  Climbing from low hollow bottoms to rocky ridge tops, the trail meanders through a forest of oak and pine. The Blue Ridge Horse Trail is about 10 miles long.

Haba Snow Mountain (China)

Description

As a traditional FKT route in China, Haba Snow Mountain main peak altitude of 5396 meters, the peak year-round frozen. "Haba" as the Naxi language, meaning gold of the flowers. Haba Snow Mountain and Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in folklore is seen as Dixiong Liang, in addition to Haba Snow Mountain is also seen as the local Tibetan people's sacred mountain. Jinsha River from the middle of two tall, tall and straight flow through the mountains, forming a Tiger Leaping Gorge.

The ascent is about 11km with 2700m elevation gain.

Description

Start and finish is in Eschenlohe. At first you will have to go over the Zwölferkopf to the summit of the „Hohe Kiste“ which has an ascent of 1300 vertical meters. Afterwards heading towards Simetsberg and going down to Walchensee. Here another big ascent is waiting up to Herzogstand. You can have a rest at the lodge here. Now following a great ridge to Heimgarten (another hut) and after this it is going down most of the time over Rauheck to the Osterfeuerspitze and down to Eschenlohe.
This loop is about 43km and 3400 vertical meters.

Whites Creek Trail (MO)

Description

The Whites Creek Trail is a 22.5 mile lollipop loop within the Irish Wilderness. The major trailhead into the Wilderness is Camp Five Pond located off Highway J, though the spur to this trailhead is not part of the FKT route. The only spur included in the FKT route is the long one on the north end to the Brawley Pond Trailhead at County Road 163. Athletes may choose any start/finish location as long as they complete the loop and the Brawley Pond lollipop stick (out and back).
