Wissahickon Valley Park is made up of 57 miles of trails. The Wissahickon is a lush, 1,800-acre gorge, crossing forest and meadow before plunging down to the sun-dappled waters of the Wissahickon Creek. Visitors find themselves lost in a feeling of wilderness as they walk, bike or ride horses through this undisputed gem of Philadelphia’s park system.

From Garmisch-Partenkirchen train station to Kochel train station

This route is crossing the Estergebirge (Wank, Hoher Fricken, Weilheimer Huette, Hohe Kisten), then continues to Osterfeuerspitze and Oelrain. The final 2 summits are Heimgarten and Herzogstand, followed by a fast donwhill to Kochel lake and finally into the small town of Kochel, all the way to the train station.

The Streek-GR Flemish Ardennes lets you experience the deep valleys, the wonderful views and the beautiful beech forests of the region in a new way. You discover unknown forest paths and field roads. The mystique and heroism of the Tour of Flanders is never far away. You will experience the old cobble roads and legendary climbs. The GR path starts in Oudenaarde, goes along the Koppenberg and via Kluisbergen and Ronse to Geraardsbergen. The path then continues via Sint-Lievens-Esse, Rozebeke and Maarkedal to Etikhove.

The Shipwrights Way is a 50 mile long distance route which links villages and towns in east Hampshire from Alice Holt Forest down to the coast at Portsmouth. The name reflects the use of oak grown at Alice Holt Forest for Tudor shipbuilding, linking this site with Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, home of the Mary Rose and HMS Victory.

The running route avoids the use of the ferry from Hayling Island and instead follows the coastline of Langstone Harbour so to avoid any reliance on ferry crossing timetables.

The first section of the fabled Pacific Crest Trail, starting at the border in Campo and ending at Warner Springs. Can be done NOBO or SOBO.
