From the Forest Service: The Sioux-Hustler Trail is a 30 mile round-trip hike with a loop. Most of this primitive trail is within the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness where permits are required. You will see beautiful scenic views at various trail locations and at Devil's Cascade, which plunges 75 feet through a deep granite gorge below Lower Pauness Lake.
