Below we discuss evolution of the trail and FKTs.

The Superior Hiking Trail runs "310+" miles following the NW shore of Lake Superior in Minnesota. It is a beautiful and rugged, mostly single track trail. The Superior Sawtooth 100 mile race, and a couple of shorter races, use this trail.

"maclay" posted to our old website (5/30/2017):

Lake Scott State Park is my local state park and trails. This Saturday, June 3, I plan on establishing a time for a set of parameters that I hope will be a fun trailrunning experience for anyone wanting to see western Kansas. LSSP is about 40 miles south of I-70, so anyone crossing Kansas who wants to get in a fun run is welcome. Here is what I'm suggesting for the parameters for anyone wanting to have a go at setting a time.

Bull Run / Occoquan Trail (VA)

Description

The BRO trail loosely parallels Bull Run (the stream) in western Fairfax County, VA, running ~18 miles from Bull Run Regional Park to Fountainhead Regional Park. Maintained by the PATC. Anyone have FKTs for this?

I know the Virginia Happy Trails Running Club (VHTRC) holds their annual 50 miler on this trail, but seems like the purest FKT for this would be to time a single length from one terminus to the other (either direction).
