Starting high in the majestic Barrington Tops World Heritage mountain forests and finishing at sea level in the stunning coastal Myall Lakes area, the Tops to Myalls Heritage Walk is a feast for Runners and hikers. At only 300km north of Sydney, Australia, the 200km long trail rarely touches bitumen and takes you through Snow gums and towering Antarctic beech forests of the Tops, through extensive native state forests to coastal heaths, littoral rainforest of the Myall Lakes then finally vast deserted beach dunescapes before the finish at the sleepy town of Hawks Nest.

The Silver Moccasin Trail is a 53-mile collection of trails traversing the San Gabriel Mountains. The trail begins at Chantry Flats, north of Arcadia CA, following trails north to Horse Flats where the trail joins the Pacific Crest Trail and ends at Vincent Gap after summiting Mt. Baden-Powell.

The Weaverville Basin Trail System (WBTS) was established in 1986 with the intention of circumnavigating the small Gold Rush town of Weaverville, California with an intricate network of 50 miles of diverse trails. Local enthusiasts have poured 100's of hours into creating and maintaining these single track gems. The WBTS project is still ongoing with upcoming plans (2020) for additional expansion and further linkage.

The Gordano Round is a 27-mile (43 km) recreational Long-distance trail, running as a figure of eight around the Gordano Valley near Portishead in North Somerset, England.

The Gordano Round route was first suggested by Jim Dyer of the Gordano Footpath Group in 1983 and walked by four members of the group in 1984. It was adopted by North Somerset Council as a recreational route and now marked on the Ordnance Survey Explorer map 154. The route is described in the book The Gordano Round first published in 2000.
