Description

"Dam to Dam" refers to the section of the North Country Trail from Croton Dam near Newaygo, MI to Hodenpyl Dam near Mesick, MI.

Shawnee State Forest Loop (OH)

Description

Shawnee State Forest, also called "The Little Smokies of Ohio," has developed into the largest of Ohio's state forests with over 60,000 acres. The "main loop" is a 40-mile backpacking route.  Loops may be run in either direction.

Kal-Haven Trail (MI)

Description

Kal-Haven Trail State Park is a 33.5-mile crushed limestone path (former RR bed) connecting South Haven and Kalamazoo. The trail meanders through wooded areas, past farm lands and over rivers and streams. Trail highlights include a camelback bridge and covered bridge. Dating to 1991 and held each year since 2010, the Kal-Haven Trail Run (race) has taken place along the length of the trail.
