A new 65-mile circular hiking route through the scenic rolling countryside and spectacular uplands of the Ribble Valley and Forest of Bowland

About the Ribble Valley Jubilee Trail

As part of the Borough’s Jubilee celebrations, Ribble Valley Mayor for 2022-23 Councillor Stuart Hirst is inaugurating a new circular walking trail around the beautiful Ribble Valley and Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Khao Rai is the tallest mountain on the island of Ko Pha Ngan. To get to the top you will follow a dirt road until eventually this turns into jungle trail. There are many roots along the trail and this makes it very technical. At the top, you have an amazing view to the north of the island and can see Ko Pha Ngan's neighbouring island, the smaller Ko Tao. 

This route is approximately 200 miles with roughly 50k of elevation gain. It starts on the Profile Trail in Seven Devils, NC. You will follow that up to the Grandfather Trail where you’ll get amazing views on Calloway Peak. You’ll follow the Grandfather Trail to the Daniel Boone Scout Trail. This will drop you down little to the Cragway Trail where you’ll get more amazing views. The Cragway Trail will lead you to the Nuwati Trail which takes you to the Tanawha Trail (Mountains to Sea Trail).
