Reflection Canyon has become an iconic landmark in the Utah desert in recent years. It is a popular spot for backpacking, hiking, and photography. And, it can be ran as a day trip or in a few hours as well. What makes Reflection Canyon iconic is the view you are treated to at the end, with S-shaped sandstone curves towering above Lake Powell. The entirety of the run is beautiful, with Arizona's sacred Navajo Mountain dominating the skyline on the run down.

For anybody visiting the town of Mount Shasta, California, the town's namesake peak is the obvious one dominating the skyline. However, when driving up the road to the Shasta trailhead, one cannot help but notice a perfectly conical peak on the skyline. This peak is called Black Butte (6,334 feet). Black Butte often serves as a training peak for Shasta climbers and provides a great alternative for when the Shasta weather is not conducive to climb, as it sits at a much lower elevation. 

Der Steinhuder Meer Rundweg ist ein 32 Kilometer langer Rad- und Wanderweg, der vollständig um Niedersachsens größten Binnensee führt. Der Weg ist gut beschildert, überwiegend befestigt und eignet sich sowohl für Radtouren (auch mit E-Bikes) als auch zum Wandern oder Nordic Walking.
