Pico da Vara (Portugal)
This trail goes along the protected area for the Management of Habitats and Species of Tronqueira e Planalto of Graminhais, the Nature Reserve of Pico da Vara and allows access to Pico da Vara, the highest point of the island, with 1103 meters high.It begins near the Forest Guard House of the Reserve of Atalhada, village of Santo António Nordestinho. The hiker should follow the marks passing by the wood of Atalhada until arriving the viewpoint with a view over the villages of Santo António Nordestinho and Algarvia.

Here, you can enjoy a bird's eye view of Lower Lough Erne and its islands. To the east are the rounded Sperrin mountains. To the north lie the Blue Stacks and to the west there is Slieve League, Donegal Bay and the Atlantic Ocean

Lough Navar Forest rises to the top of the Magho cliffs and comprises over 2,600 hectares of primarily coniferous forest. There are spectacular views over Lower Lough Erne, Donegal Bay, the Blue Stack and Sperrin Mountains.

Transkékéko
The Transkékéko runs 15 km across the Kékéko massif outside of Rouyn-Noranda, QC. The route is of the hills and valleys style with progressions in plateaus interspersed with valley crossings across technical terrain. The route is heavily wooded and traverses a series of small mountains. The normal route is to travel from east to west from the parking lot on Beaudry Road to Artnfield.
