This is the portion of the North Country Trail that falls within the Sheyenne National Grasslands in North Dakota (read more about the Grasslands here: https://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/dpg/recarea/?recid=79470). The difficulty of the trails lies in the distance and the sandiness of portions of the trail.
