The Derwent Watershed is an excellent ultra distance challenge run following, more or less, the watershed of Ladybower and Derwent reservoirs watershed.

There is a mix of fast hill trails and undulating peat bogs so its 65km are definitely not easy.  The Nav across the moors is challenging!

Begin on Cuba’s southern coast, with a foot in the Caribbean Sea, and run 31 miles north to the Gulf of Mexico.

One direct route from the Caribbean to the Gulf of Mexico (via Gulf of Batabano to Straits of Florida) is to begin at Cajia Beach then head north via the towns of La Palma, Guira de Melena, San Antonio de los Banos, Cayo la Rosa, Bauta, Rosa Marina, onto Playa Baracoa on the Gulf of Mexico. The route begins and ends with a foot in the sea.
