Ran the route starting just before 7:00am this morning northbound from candlestick point. Ending at the visitor center above Cliff House in a time of 2:04:43. Perfect morning out!

A hour can be taken off this time very easily. towards the end there is a huge flooded section, and I didn't know how to get around it. Wasted 1 hour and added 2 miles figuring it out

Quick note- the FKT route description has been updated/clarified to include the short section of trail from the Kings trailhead to the Wilson River junction, making my total time 2:27:47.
