    Fun route. Very runnable. Miles 0-2 and 13-15 are the steepest and rockiest. The summit is at 11,301 feet above sea level, so altitude effects may be noticeable if unaccustomed.

    Heading out tomorrow to do a variation of the loop out of the valley. Happy Isles - counter clockwise. Hoping the “cooler” temps will mask the additional elevation gain!
