    Had a go at this, aiming for sub 7 hours (7:02 in the end). A lot of rain the night before made it slippery and slower. Amazing route and I really think west to east is the way to do it, you gradually build towards the highest point and the best… read more »

    I am extremely humbled by this experience. I had to pull off because my bag was too heavy and I wasnt making pace. So amazed by anyone who has completed this, especially those with an FKT. Ill come better prepared next time!

    Saw that I should state the goal. I'm going to be attempting the unsupported FKT on July 27, 2025. Super excited to go for this, I've done the route a few times and done some trail work days too on the section before first switchback.
