    The name of the route is "Inspiration Traverse" so it makes sense that the traverse from Cascade River Road to Highway 20 should be the "default" run, and probably the more prestigious option. If it's called a traverse, it should be a traverse. Yes… read more »

    It looks like the Abernathy-Gardner-North Gardner variation was also completed in 12h27 in 2016: https://www.nwhikers.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=8023043 Jason's time isn't an improvement on it.
