Lofoten Ultra Trail 100 miles
Lofoten Trail from west to east is the original 100 miles route to cross the whole Lofoten islands first run in 2016. The tracks pass through an amazing scenery of mountain ridges, white beaches, green hills and grey cliffs – almost the entire time with the ocean in view or just meters from your feet. The finish line is in the scenic city of Svolvær, surrounded by steep mountains by the harbor. Pure magic.
Hunter Mountain small loop (NY)
This loop hike climbs to the second-highest peak in the Catskills, with outstanding views from the fire tower at the summit and from several other viewpoints along the trail. Above 4000 feet and one of the NH111, this hike is a must!
This trail takes the Becker Hollow Trail (the hardest climb up Hunter) to the fire tower. From there take the Hunter Mountain Trail to a look out .1 before hoping back on the Becker Hollow Trail to head back down.
Slide Mountain (NY)
Slide Mt. (not to be mistaken for Big Slide Mountain in the Adirondacks) is the highest mountain in the Catskills. It is also only one of two mountains in the Catskills that rises above 4000 feet. Being the highest mountain in the Catskills and located close to New York City, Slide Mtn. is a very popular hike.

Johnson's Trail
The lollipop route begins at the Moody's Crossing gate and follows the Smoky river downstream to the peninsula. This peninsula bluff has been carved out by the unique bend in the river and offers panoramic views of the river valley. The route continues back via the lollipop loop and returns to Moody's Crossing.
The majority of this route is double track. Short steep climbs and substantial trail debris adds to the challenge of this route.
