The West Exmoor round is the sister route to the East Exmoor Round, Both Starting and finishing in the town of Exford, Somerset. The West Exmoor Round takes in the areas west of Exford including Simonsbath, Parracombe, The Heddon Valley, South West Coastal Path, Valley of the Rocks, Lynmouth, Porlock and Porlock Wier to name but a few. This is a more remote route than the east round but that gives you incredible open moorland to navigate as well as beautiful valleys and high coastal cliffs. 

Scenic 99 miles on blacktop Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park, Virginia. You can buy your national park pass ahead of time online recreation.gov. Also obtain free backcountry permit at https://www.recreation.gov/permits/4675336  Backcountry permit is required for overnight staying in the park, it registers your car.  Skyline Drive does not have a wide shoulder. Most cars were courteous slowing down driving around me and I also did not mind running on the grass. Everyone I encountered were very friendly.
