The route begins at the Jogajima Bridge at the southernmost tip of Kanagawa Prefecture.

From here, it traverses the Miura Alps, passes through the ancient capital of Kamakura, and continues through the areas around Fujisawa, Ebina, and Atsugi. It then heads toward Lake Sagami, crosses Minami-Takao, Shiroyama kobutoke, and Jinba, culminating at the northernmost point of Kanagawa Prefecture.

This course offers diverse landscapes, leading from the sea to the mountains and back to the ridgeline of Takao.
