The Battle Creek Linear Park contains over 26 miles of paved pathway with parks, plants, animals, playgrounds, fishing, & historical and cultural markers. The perimeter loop is 10.5 miles and goes along both the Kalamazoo & Battle Creek Rivers through Downtown Battle Creek. Highlights downtown include the Battle Creek Area Math and Science Center, with views of Friendship Park, Central High School, the Willard Library, Kellogg House Park, and an Underground Railroad Sculpture.

The Sonian Forest (Forêt de Soignes) is a large and diverse forest area outside Brussels that serves as recreational opportunity for walkers, runners, cyclists and others that appreciate nature. The different areas are specked with trails and routes and are interconnected for easy access. A group of runners have created this trail challenge during the Covid-19 lock down and the route takes you through all parts of the forest using the best trails and visiting numerous cultural, historic and natural sites.
