In Lake Vänern's archipelago, just outside Mariestad, you will find lonely and beautiful Brommö Island. Here on the almost completely car-free island is the 14-kilometer-long hiking trail Brommöleden. Run in a nature reminiscent of the Swedish west coast - with dunes, cliffs, beaches and clear blue water.

The trail is signposted excellent with orange markings. It follows forest roads and smooth, wide paths.

The Dartmoor National Park covers 368 square miles, and there are many options for running in that area. One option is to run all the way across, and an obvious way to do that is using the Two Moors Way (https://twomoorsway.org/about-the-route/). The TMW goes from Ivybridge to Lynmouth, passing through Exmoor and Dartmoor, and this route is the section that is included within the Dartmoor National Park, a 36 miles route.

This route links up the seven major summits clustered to the south of Logan Pass in Glacier National Park. It's a difficult, extremely aesthetic trail running and scrambling adventure in one of the most beautiful mountain environments in the world. There are approximately nine miles total of trail, social trail, and class 2 off-trail movement. The remaining 13 miles or so (depending on the exact route taken) is class 3 scrambling punctuated by some class 4 sections.
