Description

The Carmarthenshire Fans (Bannau Sir Gaer) are located in the Black Mountain range of the Brecon Beacons. Whilst often overlooked in favour of the taller peaks to the east, they are no less impressive. Though popular with locals, this range is less accessible than others and remains relatively quiet year-round. The range's highest point, Fan Brycheiniog, is 802m above sea level and the majority of the route is often snowbound in the winter months.

Description

This route start in the little village of Portovenere near the castle and the Church of San Pietro overlooking the sea and ends in Levanto. In the middle, one after the other, you can admire the beauty of five small villages (Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso) from the high route. The trail is easy, just a couple of short technical downhill and you can run it every day of the year because the weather is always good.
