The Crown Zellerbach (a.k.a. Crown Z) Trail is a former railroad line that ran timber and supplied work camps in the rural areas of Columbia County that connects to the Banks-Vernonia State Trail in Vernonia. The trail starts in Scappoose on the Multnomah Channel at Chapman Landing and transverses through the forested areas of Columbia County to Vernonia Lake, at the Vernonia Lake Trailhead. The Crown Z Trail is a partially paved, partially gravel linear trail.

Modeled after the renowned Grand Canyon Crossings FKT route, this is a "Rim-to-Rim-to-Rim" style effort right through the heart of the Badwater Basin within the infamously rugged and unforgiving terrain of Dea

The Naa Ohn Kara Grand Tour is a route that summits every significant peak along the main spine of the mountains also known as the Gore Range. Twenty-six of the peaks on the traverse are near or above 13,000 feet of elevation. The north end of the traverse is Surprise Lake Trailhead, the south end is Buffalo Cabin Trailhead. Because of the technical crux on Peak C Prime the traverse is probably best done from North to South from Eagles Nest to Buffalo Mountain.

This route links nine trails to generate a 50-mile loop that circumnavigates downtown Austin and areas to the north. The trails range from the the paved Northern and Southern Walnut Creek trails, to the crushed stone of the Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail (aka the Town Lake Trail) and the Roy Guerrero Park trails, and to the largely single-track, sometimes rocky and technical Barton Creek Greenbelt, Bull Creek, Great Hills, Yett Creek, and Copperfield trails.
