The GA dumbassery (GAD) overlaps with both the GA Loop and the GA Death Loop, however, GAD is longer, steeper and covers more north GA trails in addition to some of the most fun FSR's. GAD is a loop and starts at Woody gap on the AT:

Golden Canyon has been in famed movies such as Star Wars, as such it is one of the primary tourist destinations of Death Valley National Park. (time your running efforts early in the morning or in the evening to avoid crowds (or the heat if it is near summer). This is probably the most universally recognizable running loop in Death Valley.
