Description

This is a premier long-distance path across the western slopes of the Black Forest from the city of Gernsbach to the town of Diersburg. It takes its name from the countless vineyards along the path - and is especially beautiful to run in the fall when the leaves change color. There are are handful of amazing medieval castles directly on the trail. The Ortenauer Weinpfad covers both single-trails across the forest and asphalted small paths through the vines with beautiful views on the Rhine valley and neigboring France, including Strasbourg's cathedral.

Description

Ketchikan, Alaska: a lazy drinking town with a bad fishing problem. Crusty loggers and saltier captains brawling at every bar, and just 30 miles of road to roam on.
