Description

After I completed Holy Nolans in 2018, Andrea Sansone and I wanted to try something something really big that surprisingly hadn't ever been done before (as far as we could tell). Over the years I have dreamed of setting a Centennial peaks record in Colorado, and in scouting for that record I have found that a really cool subset of routes is traversing entire ranges in Colorado and climbing all of not just the 14ers in the range, but the Centennial 13ers.

Description

More than 12,000 years ago, an immense flow of glacial ice sculpted a landscape of remarkable beauty across Wisconsin. As the glacier retreated, it left behind a variety of unique landscape features. These glacial remnants are now considered among the world’s finest examples of how continental glaciation sculpts our planet.

Patterdale Parish Boundary (United Kingdom)

Description

In days gone by local people walked along the boundary to remember Patterdale’s border. Boys may have been beaten to make fast the memory - hence “beating the bounds”! Other people have walked and run along the Boundary for sport and interest. In this spirit in 1990 the Rector of Patterdale and two local parishioners walked the boundary in 13 hours. In 1992 they invited people to walk the boundary to raise money in sponsorship and donations for Patterdale School and St Patrick's Church. Since then the walk has taken place every year.
