Dalla piazza centrale di Cuneo fino al profumo salmastro del mare di Ventimiglia, questo itineriario attraversa alcune delle valli più autentiche e selvagge delle Alpi del Mare, seguendo antiche vie militari, dorsali sospese tra Piemonte, Liguria e Francia e sentieri che per secoli hanno collegato il mare con le vallate alpine. 

The adventure begins in the remote village of Tachedirt.

The route climbs steadily for around 800m towards Tizi N’Tachedirt. The trail is straightforward and easy to follow, rewarding you at the pass with breathtaking panoramic views over both the Imnane and Ourika Valleys.

The Alpamayo Circuit is a stunning, 118km trek north of Huaraz. It features part of the more well-known Santa Cruz trail, then does a connecting section and finishes with the remote Alpamayo trek. Starting in Cashapampa and finishing in Hualcayan is the most common route variation, although there is also the option to walk back to Cashapampa.
