The route can be done up or down. From Namche several routes go up either towards Everest Base Camp or the adjacent valley. I considered the arrival point the top of Namche where route to EBC and acclimatization split. 

This is normally done in about 10hrs as a two day trek (downhill) Or as a 3 to 4 days trek up if acclimatization is required. If done uphill, the total ascent is around 1900m+. 

It is in the popular Sagarmata National park but it is the Gokyo and Gokyo lake variation. 

It is a good route to have on the FKT website for subsequent attempts.

The „Iserlohner Rundweg“ is a hiking route around the city of Iserlohn, Germany on the city borders. The northern part mainly uses cycling routes. The southern part is on steeper terrain through forests and mainly without asphalt.
