Description

Would you like to explore Esslingen from its most beautiful side? Then we recommend a hike on the 28 km long Esslinger Höhenweg. If you dare to take this route, you can even manage the high altitude trail in one day. The Esslinger Höhenweg runs above the Neckar valley and is perfectly signposted. It leads along the edge of the Filder and the Schurwald, around Esslingen, through orchards and vineyards. It crosses the Neckar valley twice.

Parallel to the route there are many art historical sights as well as countless vantage points with impressive panoramas.
