High Lonesome Loop (CO)
The High Lonesome Loop is a super-popular 15 mile loop in the Indian Peaks Wilderness of Colorado's Front Range. The route begins and ends at the Hessie Trailhead just west of Nederland. This is one of the quickest and shortest ways Boulder's many trail runners to access the Continental Divide, which accounts for the route's popularity. Once upon a time this route was known as "The King & Devil".

Mesa Trail (Boulder, CO)
The Mesa Trail is a gem of Boulder Colorado's City of Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks (OSMP) system. The Mesa Trail has to be one of the best and most famous short trails in the country. It runs 6.7 miles from Chautauqua Park in Boulder to Eldorado Springs Drive, following a rolling and very scenic route along the foothills, with spectacular views of Boulder's famous Flatirons.
