Description

The Glamorgan Ridgeway Walk is a scenic long distance path in South Wales. It follows public footpaths, bridleways, forest tracks and quiet lanes along the ridge line from Margam Country Park, near Port Talbot, through spectacular upland and valley scenery to Caerphilly Castle. The 33 mile route (53km) along the southern edge of the South Wales Coalfield offers panoramic views of the rugged narrow valleys and the Brecon Beacons to the north, and across the Vale to the Bristol Channel to the south, with Devon and Somerset beyond. The route is waymarked throughout.

Description

Belgium has a lot of walking routes. In the serie of pelgrim routes to the Cathedral of Scherpenheuvel there are several routes. This one runs from Landen to Scherpheuvel over almost 40 kilometers in the hills of Hageland, Flemish Brabant. Rural areas change into woods over hills on dirt roads and small paved streets.

The start is at the gate of the Rietgors in Landen and runs to the gate of the Cathedral of Scherpenheuvel.
