This route is a non-typical ascent of Cathedral Mountain that traverses very technical, steep, and bushy terrain along the way. The trail between North Needle and Coliseum in particular is very technical and requires route-finding skills (as is the case along much of the route). There is little water available except for a tarn immediately to the north of Coliseum Mountain.

The peaks traversed in order are: Lynn Peak, The Needles, Coliseum Mountain, Mount Burwell, before reaching Cathedral.
