Jared Campbell's WURL page describes it like this: "The Wasatch Ultimate Ridge Linkup or “WURL” is an incredible ridge route circumnavigating Little Cottonwood Canyon in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah. The route mainly consists of scrambling, boulder hopping, and a few rugged trails. It is ~36 miles long with ~18kft of elevation gain." Campbell's site gives much more information and a list of completions.

@gustafsonja that would be tricky or at least not too fast, there is no water to be had on the ridgeline so it would require carrying a couple gallons or leaving the ridge to filter water.
The WURL is under 24 hours, so it seems like either starting with 3 liters and going thirsty, or doing it early season and supplementing with some snow, would not be too difficult. At the same time, the "support" of a water cache shouldn't speed things up much.
Going for an Unsupported attempt tomorrow morning about 2am with my buddy Zane Morris. It’s early in the season and we have a little snow in the forecast! No telling what will happen but we’re gonna give our best shot!
Welp, gave it a shot. 2am start with snow falling a couple hours in which we knew would happen. No big. Just more careful. Problem was, we started getting lighting. Never ok to make yourself a target on an exposed ridge like that. Had to head down. Hoping to get another shot next month🤷♂️
Our weather window looks like a 12am-1am start either Sunday or Monday.
We will confirm a start date and live tracking here tomorrow.
