Description

This route can be run in both directions with easy access to both entry points from Hamburg main station. The route follows a beautiful topological feature called "The High Moraine", which was formed during the last ice-age. About 50% of the route also follows the Elbe riverbank and most of the route is in forest on easy trails. Parts of the route traverse areas of special natural interest (and protection).

Big Blean Walk

Description

Covering over 11 square miles near Canterbury, the Blean is one of Englands most ancient woodland and rich in history. The route can be done as one nice loop and Selling train station is the best place to start with its own start post. Largely single track with some open farmland, plenty of stream crossings, and old woodland.
