Chikamin Peak is the first Cascade mountain north of Mount Rainier to reach over 7000 feet in elevation, and an excellent destination for a day trip. This route follows the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) north from Snoqualmie Pass, requires a short scramble up the south side of Chikamin Peak, and then reconnects back to the PCT via Chikamin and Glacier lakes.
