Krottenkopf Skyrace (Germany)

Description

With 2.656 m the Großer Krottenkopf is the highest peak in the Allgäu Alps. This route describes the classic ascent, from the head of Trettach valley to the „roof“ of the Allgäu. Start and finish point is the valley station of the Kemptner Hütte material ropeway.

Route points: Ropeway station - Sperrbachtobel - Kemptner Hütte - Oberes Mädelejoch - Krottenkopfscharte – summit cross Großer Krottenkopf - and the same route down again.

Description

The Weavers Way (named after the important weaving industry) is a long distance footpath in Norfolk, England. It is 100km (62 miles) long and runs from Great Yarmouth to Cromer, passing through or round, Acle, Potter Heigham, Hickling, Stalham, North Walsham, Aylsham, Aldborough and Felbrigg before arriving at the North Norfolk seaside town of Cromer. It passes woodlands, farmlands, marshes, the Broads, rivers, stations, bridges and more.

Royal National Park Loop

Description

Full loop of the stunning world Famous Royal National Park, located only 45mins south from the heart of the city of Sydney.

The run is a complete continuous loop, without any part doubling back on itself. This run can be completed in either a clockwise or counterclockwise direction.

For this description, the details are for a clockwise running of the route.

The start and finish, is at the Anzac oval in Engadine, where you head to the railway station overhead crossing and head into the National park from there.
